The Rectory, Leichhardt
Built on a large corner block in Leichhardt, this house exudes the Federation era and architecture in the front section of the home. Built in 1905, the home retains most of its original features with fireplaces, press metal ceilings and hardwood floors. The home is now extended in the rear to retain a lot of features sympathetic to its era and time. The home is modestly decorated to showcase the features of the home with the mod cons of today but with a twist of an oriental influence from the furniture to the reflection pond in the rear.
