We’re always on the lookout for new locations – and we’d love your help.

When you refer a new location to Pure Locations and it receives its first booking, we’ll say thanks with a $250 gift card for you.

How it works

  1. Refer a location
    Share the details of a friend, client, neighbour or family member who would be interested in listing with us.
  2. We review the property
    Our team will reach out to the homeowner, chat through what’s involved, and if it’s a good fit, we’ll list the property on Pure Locations.
  3. Get rewarded when it books
    Once the referred location completes its first booking with Pure Locations, we’ll send you a $250 gift card as a thank you.

What makes a great Pure Locations home?

We work with brands, production companies and creative teams, so we’re especially interested in homes that:

  • Have great natural light and space
  • Are visually interesting (unique architecture, styling or views)
  • Are well presented and in good condition
  • Have easy access and reasonable parking
  • Are located in or near major cities, coastal areas or popular regional hubs

Who can refer a location?

Pretty much anyone:

  • Our clients and production partners
  • Friends, family, neighbours and colleagues
  • Real estate agents, stylists, photographers and other industry contacts
  • Homeowners whose property is not yet listed with Pure Locations

You just need to provide accurate contact details for the homeowner and ensure they’re happy for us to reach out.

Important: Existing Pure Locations homeowners cannot refer their own already-listed homes or receive a referral reward for bookings at their own property.

Your reward – $250 gift card

  • You’ll receive a $250 gift card when the first booking at the referred location is completed and paid.
  • One reward is paid per new location you refer (per property).
  • We’ll contact you by email to arrange your gift card once the first booking is finalised.

Frequently asked questions

Does the homeowner have to sign up with Pure Locations?

Yes. The property must be accepted, listed and available for hire through Pure Locations.

What if the location never gets a booking?

The reward is only paid once the referred location completes its first booking. If it doesn’t book, no reward is payable.

Can I refer my own home?

If your home is already listed with Pure Locations: no. Existing Pure Locations homeowners cannot refer their own homes and are not eligible for a referral reward on their own property.

If your home is not yet listed with us: you’re welcome to submit it as a potential new location. Our team will review it as a standard homeowner enquiry, but this does not qualify as a referral for the $250 gift card.

Is there a limit to how many locations I can refer?

No. You can refer as many suitable homes as you like. Each approved location that goes on to host its first booking earns you another $250 gift card.

    Programme overview
    1.1. These Terms & Conditions govern the Pure Locations “Refer a Location” programme (Programme).
    1.2. The Programme is run by Pure Locations Pty Ltd (Pure Locations, we, us, our).
    1.3. By submitting a referral via our Refer a Location form, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

    Eligibility to participate
    2.1. The Programme is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.
    2.2. Existing Pure Locations homeowners cannot refer their own already-listed properties and are not eligible to receive a referral reward for bookings at their own property.
    2.3. Employees, contractors and agents of Pure Locations may be excluded from receiving rewards at our discretion.

    What counts as a “referred location”
    3.1. A referred location must:
    (a) be a residential property suitable, in our opinion, for photoshoots, filming, TVCs, content creation or events;
    (b) be owned by, or under the control of, the person you nominate as the homeowner or authorised decision-maker; and
    (c) be new to Pure Locations – i.e. not already listed with us, in our database, in active negotiation, or previously submitted by the owner or another referrer.
    3.2. Pure Locations has absolute discretion to accept or reject any property for listing and to determine whether a property is considered “new” for the purposes of this Programme.
    3.3. By submitting a referral, you confirm that the contact details you provide are accurate and that the homeowner is aware, or you have a lawful reason, that we may contact them about listing their property.

    Qualifying referral and reward
    4.1. A referral becomes a Qualifying Referral only when:
    (a) the referred property is accepted by Pure Locations and listed on our platform; and
    (b) the property completes its first booking made through Pure Locations (Booking), and that Booking is fully paid and not cancelled or refunded.
    4.2. When a Qualifying Referral occurs, the eligible referrer will receive a $250 gift card (Reward).
    4.3. The type and issuer of the gift card will be determined by Pure Locations and may change from time to time.

    Multiple referrals and duplicates
    5.1. Only one Reward will be paid per property for its first Booking, regardless of how many people attempt to refer it.
    5.2. Where multiple referrals are received for the same property, the Reward (if any) will be allocated to the referrer whose fully completed referral form was received first, as recorded in our systems.
    5.3. Our decision on duplicate or disputed referrals is final.

    Payment of the reward
    6.1. Rewards will typically be issued within a reasonable time after the first Booking at the referred location has been completed and payment has been received in full by Pure Locations.
    6.2. Rewards are not transferable, exchangeable for cash, or redeemable for any other consideration.
    6.3. You are responsible for any tax, financial or reporting obligations that may arise from receiving a Reward.

    Programme changes, suspension or termination
    7.1. Pure Locations may amend, suspend or terminate the Programme (including the Reward amount) at any time without prior notice.
    7.2. If the Programme is changed or ended, any referrals that have already become Qualifying Referrals before the effective date of the change or termination will still be honoured in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
    7.3. We may withhold or cancel a Reward if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, ineligible participation or a breach of these Terms & Conditions.

    Liability and general
    8.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pure Locations is not liable for any loss, damage, claim or expense arising out of or in connection with the Programme, a Reward, or your participation in it, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach of law.
    8.2. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
    8.3. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
    8.4. If any part of these Terms & Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.

    Refer a Location – Privacy Notice

    This Privacy Notice applies specifically to personal information collected through the Pure Locations Refer a Location form.

    Who we are
    Pure Locations Pty Ltd (we, us, our) operates a location hire platform connecting homeowners with clients for photoshoots, filming, TVCs and events. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

    Personal information we collect via the referral form
    Through the Refer a Location form, we may collect:

    Your name and contact details (such as email address and phone number);

    Your relationship to the referred homeowner (if applicable);

    The homeowner’s name and contact details;

    The property address and description;

    Any links to photos or other material you provide; and

    Any additional information you choose to share in the free-text fields.

    How we use this information
    We collect, use and store the information from the form to:

    Assess the suitability of the referred property for listing with Pure Locations;

    Contact the homeowner or authorised contact about listing their property;

    Record and track referrals and determine eligibility for a Reward;

    Communicate with you about the status of the referral and any Reward;

    Improve our services and understand the types of locations being referred; and

    Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

    Sharing your information
    We may share personal information collected via the referral form with:

    Our employees and contractors who need the information to manage listings and referrals;

    Service providers who help us operate our website, systems, email and customer relationship tools; and

    Professional advisers (such as our accountants or lawyers) where reasonably necessary.
    Some of these service providers may be located outside Australia. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that recipients protect personal information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy law.

    Referring someone else’s details
    If you provide personal information about another person (such as a homeowner):

    You should only do so if they have consented, or you are otherwise lawfully entitled to share their details with us; and

    You confirm that they understand Pure Locations may contact them to discuss listing their property and that their information will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Notice and our full Privacy Policy.

    Direct marketing
    We may use your contact details to send you information about Pure Locations, new locations and opportunities, or promotions relating to our services, where this is permitted by law.
    You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

    Data storage and security
    We store personal information in electronic systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes using secure systems, access controls and, where appropriate, encryption.
    We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this Notice or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

    Accessing and correcting your information
    You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and request that we correct any information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading.
    To do this, please contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

    Questions or complaints
    If you have any questions about how we handle personal information, or wish to make a privacy-related complaint, please contact us.

    We will respond to your enquiry or complaint within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

    Updates to this Privacy Notice
    We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website. Your continued use of the referral form after any update constitutes your acknowledgement of the updated Notice.
