Home Beautiful magazine captured the magic of an accent wall at our exquisite Sydney location Villa Verde, as part of their 2023 interior trend forecast. The team perfectly styled the classic white crown moulding walls and dreamy wallpaper to create a joyful and unique space that is perfectly on trend for the year.

Moodnight Shoes chose the Mediterranean-style statement tiles at Chateau Marmont as the perfect canvas to showcase their Spring/Summer 23 collection, with absolutely breathtaking results. The warm hues provided that sun-basked summer feel, transporting their audience straight to a European summer.

Picture luscious grass swaying in the breeze, dreamy canopies of foliage and the sun spilling its light over the scene. This is how we best describe this month’s trend alert, wind in the willows. With a picturesque countryside background, the Billini team showcased their collection of knee high boots at the picture-perfect Wild Flower Farm in Western Sydney. With grassy country fields, autumn leaves and dreamy lake views, this brand shoot perfectly captured the beauty of the wind in the willows trend.

JUNE: MAJOR MAXIMALISM

After a season of neutral hues and the minimalist ideal of ‘less is more’, maximalist design has burst onto the scene in home design this year. With vibrant personality, eclectic patterns, mixed textures and bold hues, this aesthetic is reigning supreme, throwing homeowners and creatives into excitement. Where more is better, Maximalism is a joyous celebration of creative expression and individuality.

AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S WEEKLY AT RUBIX

For their exclusive chat with the wonderful Julie Morris, the Australian Women’s Weekly magazine shot on location at Rubix, a perfectly quirky Maximalist abode in Melbourne’s Toorak. The bright colour pops, funky furniture pieces and contemporary artwork matched Julia’s charismatic personality, and helped bring the shoot to life.

JULY: PRETTY IN PINK

During the month of July, a single location trend emerged as the undisputed frontrunner, and the eagerly anticipated premiere of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie was responsible. Barbiecore reigned supreme, and ignited a lively homage to all things pink within home design. Whether it was a gentle infusion of pink accents or a bold takeover, we thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the pink aesthetic conquer the creative space in July.

Making a lively statement, the team at FILA Australia chose the quirky personality and bright pink accents of our Melbourne location Galleria to showcase their colourful collection with style, fully embracing the Barbiecore aesthetic.
